Along the way, stop at the historic Tachog Lhakhang, a sacred temple connected by a traditional iron chain bridge built by the famous Tibetan saint Thangtong Gyalpo. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in at your hotel and relax. The evening is free for leisure, allowing you to explore the peaceful surroundings of the city or unwind at the hotel. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2 Day Excursion to Punakha (Approx. 2 hrs. one way)

The journey passes through the famous Dochula Pass at an altitude of 3,150 meters, where you can admire the stunning 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges on clear days. Upon arrival in Punakha, visit the impressive Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful architectural landmarks located at the confluence of two rivers. You will also walk across the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge, offering spectacular views of the valley. Later in the evening, drive back to Thimphu for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Thimphu Sightseeing – Drive to Paro (Approx. 1 hr.)
