Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu & Pashupatinath Aarati
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will receive a warm welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport and be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After some time to relax, you will visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites, to witness the mesmerizing Sandhya Aarati ceremony along the Bagmati River. After this spiritual experience, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full-day cultural tour of Kathmandu Valley. Begin with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, followed by Guhyeshwari Temple, a significant Shakti Peeth dedicated to Goddess Kali. Continue to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Later, visit Budhanilkantha Temple, known for its impressive reclining Vishnu statue, and conclude the day at Swayambhunath Stupa, offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple
After breakfast, begin a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. En route, stop for a cable car ride to the sacred Manakamana Temple, where you can seek blessings and enjoy beautiful views. After descending, continue your journey to Pokhara, passing through picturesque landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening relaxing by Phewa Lake or exploring the lively Lakeside area. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 4 Pokhara Sightseeing & Sunrise at Sarangkot
Wake up early and drive to Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna mountain range. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, continue with sightseeing including Bindhyabasini Temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and Devi's Fall. Later, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake with a visit to Tal Barahi Temple located on an island. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 5 Pokahara to Kathmandu (Approx. 210 km / 7 hours)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin the scenic drive back to Kathmandu via the Prithvi Highway. Enjoy views of rivers, hills, and rural landscapes along the way, with stops for refreshments as needed. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 6 Departure
On your final day, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or exploring nearby areas, depending on your flight schedule. Later, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable Kathmandu and Pokhara tour.
